BILATERAL RELATIONS

Austria and Malawi enjoy cordial diplomatic relations, which date back to 1964.

 

COOPERATION WITH MALAWI

The two countries also interact cordially in the context of the international multilateral fora, such that they have supported each other in numerous candidatures in the United Nations. Austria is a very important strategic partner for Malawi, mainly in the area of tourism, and academic partnerships.
