Honourable Nancy Tembo, M.P., Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Malawi received in audience Her Excellency Ms Istem Circiroglu, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to Malawi
 On 25th October, 2022, Honourable Nancy Tembo, M.P., Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Malawi received in audience Her Excellency Ms Istem Circiroglu, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to Malawi.
Discussions centred on the food and energy crises, and the challenges in the global peace and stability that are impacting negatively on the development of Africa. Honourable Tembo expressed optimism that the engagements Ambassador Circiroglu would have in Malawi would constitute an important stepping stone for reviving cooperation between Malawi and Turkiye in the form of Joint Commission of Cooperation (JCC) which was launched in 2006. Ambassador Circiroglu was in the country to hold meetings with various stakeholders to promote cooperation.
