His Excellency Dr Thomas Bisika, Malawi’s Ambassador to Portugal with residence in London, presenting letters of credence to His Excellency Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of Portugal, on 30th March, 2023. The ceremony took place at Palácio de Belém, Lisbon, Portugal. During discussions that ensued afterwards, Dr Bisika conveyed fraternal greetings from His Excellency Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi, to President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and briefed him about the devastating impact of Cyclone Freddy in southern Malawi.
